I got this for the hotpot season last year, I'm very happy with the quality. The power cord is short, so if your table is far from a outlet you'll have to get an extension cord. But that is about the only flaw of this pot. It is large enough to hold broth for a big family to have hotpot. It can heat up the broth pretty quickly when you need to heat it up initially, then if you want to stop the boiling and enjoy the food it can slow down the heating to whatever rate you want.
