Wow, I love this teapot. I am just beginning to get into loose teas so I can not comment on how well this teapot blends the flavors or anything more advanced than the basics of making a pot of tea, but for my needs this teapot is perfect.I have recently renovated my kitchen, and was looking for a teapot that I could leave on my stove all the time that will (1) look great and compliment my new modern kitchen and (2) make great tea easily and quickly. This teapot fit the bill.PROS:- Looks simply gorgeous on my stove- Warms up very quickly on a low burner- Has a removable tea strainer that will also fit nicely into a cup- Super easy to clean- Tea mixes well with very little water (even though it looks like you should need a lot more)CONS:- The handle can get hot, be careful- The handle can get slippery- There is no whistle to indicate when it's done, so you need to watch it- Do not overfill, otherwise the water will come out of the spout when boiling- It's not the thickest glass, you need to be careful with itNOTE: I use mine on the lowest setting of my low burner, and it works perfectly. I would not recommend using it on a high setting or a high burner. One last thing to note is that there is a gap between the tea strainer and bottom of the tea pot, so you will need to fill the water high enough to just cover the bottom of the tea basket in order for the tea to mix with the water. Luckily, it doesn't need much. Another option is to just use it to boil the water, and then pour the hot water directly over the tea strainer while it is in a cup. I do this when I am making a single cup for myself and it works great.2/17/15 UPDATE:After @4 months of near daily use this little teapot is holding up great. The worst issue (and it's really minor) is that the handle does get hot and can be a little slippery if you're hands are not completely dry. Using a dishtowel fixes this issue for me. This teapot is definitely 5 stars.
