The plant looks healthy. I will update as it grows. I really hope it gets to look like the pictures:-)Sweet Autumn has got to be my favorite flowering vine. I had it at my old house and when I moved, I couldn't take it with me, so I ordered some plants for my new home. I just got them planted, and I can't wait until they take off and take over the side of my porch! The clematis is so pretty in bloom!!It's growing beautifully. I bought three more to soften up the look of my house. Please plant this where the sun shines the most. I made the mistake and planted this in a more shady area and it struggled for the sun. After placing it on a fence with bamboo to help vine it shot off the year after. This year (2018) it went all brown and I worried again that the previous year was the last of the bloom. But honey, she was simply sleeping (yes its a she lol) and new growth is pushing through in this beautiful spring we're having. This was definitely a great purchase. Out of all three i bought, 1 died (because of too much shade and moisture) but transplanting into a sunny area made the difference. Also, be patient.Bought two of these early last year. Gave one away as a gift and kept the other. I wasn't expecting much because it was through the mail, but it arrived healthy and quickly established itself. Although it was smaller than I expected, it quickly took off and in the first year grew about 9 feet. Now, I have it scaling 2 8ft fence sections and it shows no signs of slowing down. I actually have to buy two more lattice structures to keep it climbing horizontally along the fence. If you have a large section you would like to cover with a nice looking and non-invasive vine, I would suggest this. If you don't have about 30 Ft of space either horizontally or vertically for this climb, you may want to consider a normal clematis. The failure to grow like other clematis vinesThe plant was smaller than I anticipated. Seems to be growing well though.Plant was very heathy when I received it, and the rate of growth is really fast, and I have it in a planter inside my mouse until winter is over. I can't wait to plaint it outside when Spring comes. Looking forward to the pretty and fragrant white flowers..This vine grew like Jack and the Beanstalk! Although I am not really fond of the small flowers of this type of clematis, the actual plant grew and was very healthy and produced many flowers. I couldn't have asked for this plant to do more than it did. I have two other clematis plants that have large beautiful flowers and I thought this one would have big flowers too- so that was a little disappointing, but it grew so fast and huge in just a few short months. Plant it in an area that you need to hide something or shade something. It is great for privacy on a fence.
