I like for the price but looks like an expensive ceramic.I wanted plastic hanging planters that looked like ceramic - we have plaster ceilings and didn’t want anything too heavy. These look great. I do agree with other reviews that they feel a little cheap when you take them out of the box, but as soon as you plant them and hang them they look great. I like the drainage system, and that the chain and hook was already assembled and really easy to put together. The 8 inch planters seem a little small for my 8 inch plants that I got at Home Depot, but they could just be cheap overgrown plants. So far so good!Despite the drainage tray in the bottom of this pot, I can't recommend filling it with potting mix and putting your plants directly into it. I killed a very hardy houseplant that way, RIP. What this pot *is* very good for is putting another pot inside, though the insertable drainage tray does have a tendency to slip around and not stay put very well. The hanging pot is very easy to assemble and clean, as well as highly durable. These pots are my go to. They are sturdy great looking and can help you make sure your plants are never overwatered I have bought nine of these so far and will continue to buy more. Great value for the money. We really like the looks of this and they functioned well in how we were using them, hanging from a tree outside and getting very limited sun, wind, or anything that you'd expect to make them wear out quickly. Yet, within 2 months, the ropes holding things together have rotted out. I found one broken and the item dangling and thought maybe a squirrel or something, but in looking at the unit 2 more ropes gave out, right where they to through the ceramic. I'm lucky to have caught this when I did, or they'd have hit the ground and probably shattered.I like the color I like the size the chains a little flimsy and the material on the pot hopefully it lasts a long time I can't really tell doesn't feel super high quality but it seems sturdyI ordered a set of six but only received five chains to hang them, so really I only got five usable pots. Yes, I can buy some chain, hooks, and clips in town for about what I paid for the set to make the one pot usable, but I shouldn't have to. Factor in the cost, my time, gas, it's not really worth it.The white pots are a cream color which looks ok. The pots are a thin flexible plastic, several were warped when I got them. Hopefully they will settle into a more pleasing shape after hanging with soil in them. The chains are a basic jack chain. It looks ok, not great but is quite strong. They should hold up well. Hooks are big and solid enough to easily hang the pots on the wrought iron wall hangars I have. These aren't the best pots but for $9 and free shipping, even only being able to use five, it's a good deal for the small plants that I want to hang.My only issue is not with the product but has to do with me. The plant which I transplanted into this hanging pot was a bit too large for me to include the interior piece that is supposed to help with drainage. I think it should work fine since it still has a plug on the bottom that can be opened so I can let the plant drain in the sink if I have to before hanging it back up. Fits perfectly in the window and looks nice. Very happy with it.
