Last year I purchased one of Peridot Jewel of the Desert with 4 other types from another supplier. I tried to harden it off before planting, but it declined and died after out-planting. As I don't have any yellow types, I bought it again this time as a 3 pack. Arrived nicely but one died before transplanting and with gradual hardening off I planted the remaining. They continued to decline in the same location as my other types but failed to grow. I took two cuttings before out-planting and they may be growing just a little. Of the types I have, Raspberry Granita is the most vigorous. It grows to 2 ft acrross in a year and keeps spreading. I'd advise against Peridot Jewel of the Desert cultivar. too fussy.
