It was advertised as 1.2 mm thick side wall and 19 lbs weight. That is wrong it is .9 mm and 13lbs. I bought it because I thought it was thicker and heavier than the other pots. It also cost about 30% to 40% more. I cannot return it because I need to boil up 40 gal. of sap or it will go bad and return policy is unused only for returns. I will say that the handles look sturdy. I do not know why the other reviews did not notice the weight difference. I am a machinist and used micrometers to measure the side walls. Not sure about shopping here.
