We do a lot of cooking and canning. These have become indispensable for the last two years when canning because then the jars don't slip! They keep our laminate counters safe from the heat without any issues. Each one does get a bit warm to the touch, but I would expect that after holding jars with boiling liquid for a few minutes each batch. The design makes them easy to clean but still holds bits that drip while canning.After all, the only negative I can say is that I wish they were a bit thicker so were less floppy when washing by hand.What other endorsement than this is a repeat purchase of this item. Excellent value for cost. Nice size and thickness. To clean, rinse under sink faucet, let dry. I have the original set sitting on my granite countertop, and is handy to place hot or cold items onto. Purchased this set as a back up, so I can find useful spot for them, or to replace if others are being cleaned/dried or gets damaged.Highly recommend this product/item.I really like this item, and that it came as a two pack. However I would love to see some larger sizes. Two together barely fit under my 8 quart air fryer, so I had to purchase a different mat, and I'm not impressed with how thin the new mat is.I do still like this product, and will use it for other things. But again I wish this company woild make larger mats as well. The teal I ordered is absolutely beautiful.Good quality, versatile!We use a couple of these to protect a wood table from hot bowls and plates. Have a small apt. and can only use my crockpot on top of my glass top stove. And these sit right under it and I have no worries. Recommended.These don't slip on the counter, unlike others I have. The pattern makes it a wee bit difficult to dry, but that is a minor complaint. I've had them nearly a year and no sign of wear.Neat looking and great color.....fits well with kitchen décor....works well so far....Nice size, as expected. Helps to keep objects from slipping off kitchen counter when cutting things or using mixing bowl with no built-in grip on base.I actually use these under my kitchen chair cushions! The cushions always slide around when sitting on them and these did the trick! So I really have no real review on them.I have used on dining table when taking a hot casserole from oven to tabletop, also useful on the counter top under hot pots, and even under cutting boards to keep from sliding around when in use.
