I have bought severals before this one. This is the only one works and fit my current home pressure cooker. I tried it with cooking the mixed rice. It went very well. First the bottom is not sticky. Second it’s really easy to clean. I don’t have to worry about bottom of inner pot loosening up get into my rice and get into our body!Bought 3 quart pot to use as a tall-sided inner pot in my 6 quart IP for pot-in-pot cooking method. Used the red, silicone sling as a trivet instead of the yellow, silicone trivet or the trivet/rack that came with my machine as those were both too tall to close the lid correctly & make a good seal. The handles of the red sling did have to be slipped down between the two pots to create a solid seal. Worked great! Able to make a double batch of rice pudding for a small crowd!Got this extra one because I thought that I had ruined my old one. Turns out I didn't and the old one came clean. Now I have two. But they are really great. Stainless steel. I like stainless steel much better than a pot with no-stick coating. The stainless is the best. Heats great, cleans great, having two is just that much better.Dropped the last one by accident. empty.Took just enough of damage on the lip for it not to seal properly. To be honest I was a lil taken back by the price. The cost is way more than it should be. my opinion. otherwise it fits just fine. There is a review that said the bottom of the pot had an issue. I am guessing the pot was run dry of moisture and that allowed temperature to go up. If used as instructed, there should be no issues.Oh my gosh, what did I ever do without an Instapot! It is used so much that I had to purchase a second pot. Great quality, stainless, stays hot and cleans up in a flash. If it gets something that burned on the bottom, a little Barkeepers Friend and water cleans it right up so it looks new all the time. Highly recommend!Once I got the right size, was a direct replacement for the insta-pot. A tip that I have found is to add a small amount of household bleach to the wash water. That helps in some manner to remove what seems to be "stains" that are left after regular washing / going through the dishwasher.Would recommend.Sometimes you need to cook and put aside while you cook something else. 2 pots is perfect.Changing my original review based on new experience (see photo of the inside of the pot). After only a few weeks of use the pot has rusted!!! Since I don't want any rust in my food, I can now basically throw the pot away.I have never ever put any acidic food into the pot. I mainly used it to steam broccoli, always washed and dried immediately after use. This pot is NOT made of inox. That would not have happened with inox. The pot is galvanized. It has a thin outer layer containing chrome (based on its shiny appearance), with a combination of other metals underneath. If it's not inox, and why is it being sold as inox? That's fraud.Instant Pot should have verified the quality of the products, not just the (obviously fraudulent) Bill of Materials. Why do I have to pay for this sloppiness?----Original review: 5 starsIt speeds up cooking if you have multiple inner pots, because you can switch pots and this gives you much more flexibility. It's a stainless steel pot identical to the one that comes with the Instant Pot Pressure Cooker. It is useful to have as a spare if you are likely to use your Instant Pot often. It can be used as a casserole dish if your oven is deep enough and as a pan on a cooker top if necessary (although it is a little tall for most uses). This all wins it brownie points.Beyond that it is way over priced for a possibly less than average steel pot that seemingly gets scratched by the food cooked in it, both wooden and silicone spatulas, and microfibre dish clothes (each time it is used I see new scratches appear). I really wish a similar pot was made by another manufacturer, to give Instant Pot a little competition and force them to either up the quality or drop the price. I got mine on special offer and would certainly not recommend buying it at full price.Absolutely love my instantpot so purchased two more pots they are fantastic I can get three meals completed without having to empty wash pot etc. I’ve finished cooking then have the other pot ready to put in.Only peace of advice I would give is don’t pile the pots inside each other there tends to be a vacuum produced and takes a tag team to get the apart.I am really happy with this Instant Pot inner pot. As I have a different electric pressure cooker fa5130 which comes originally with an aluminium teflon coated inner pot and I wanted to have the 2nd pot from stainless steel. It fits to my pressure cooker, works fine, doesn't leak. Easy to clean. Fast delivery abroad. Handy to have 2nd pot.Original Instant Pot pots, but you may get different style. The 5.7L is not compatible wit he the Duo Crisp or Duo range. The box does state this but you probably won't see it until after you opened the box:)I've purchased a "Used Like New" one which was the Nova version with the cup measurements on the inside of the steel pot, however the description was definitely "Like New" as the item has scratches and small dents. The Nova version is supposed to be more expensive, probably due to additional markings, but same price on Amazon. Just randomly get one or the other based on the review photos I have seen.I have purchased a NEW pot from Amazon and this one is "NEW" and the same as my existing one that came with the Instant Pot Duo Crisp. Some reviews on the Instant Pot website stated that the weight was different on the new spare pots, less weight to it. Both the Nova and Original version had the correct weight.
