I do have an 8” Window sill at work so they fit nicely and work well. Only complaint is, now that my coworkers have seen them and would like them for themselves, there’s not many color options unfortunately. Our school walls are already beige. Luckily my favorite color is blue. More colors please!I like that these planters are deep enough to accommodate the root systems of the plants I put in them. Some planters are rather shallow.these replaced a very similar liner that was stolen from my railing planters. Very pretty neutral light blue, love the well under where the soil goes - no root rot for my little flowers! They aren't a super heavy plastic, but they're small enough that they don't really need to carry lots of weight. Needless to say, this time we drilled a couple of holes and wired them to the railing.Sturdy. Includes saucer. Nice quality and valueI used these because the dimensions fit in my mailbox planter box. Perfect fit and height. I am not taking advantage of the water filling spout as I would have to take the planter out of its location but no problem I plan to water succulents from the top. But I can see how it could be useful.I ordered 4 of these for my balcony railings: painted wooden surface, 6" wide. The size was perfect and not awkward to move with a saturated bottom tray. (Like after a hard rain!) I'm 81 and have a hard time moving heavy plants around. Nice quality for plastic but I don't plan to leave them out during the winter here in the mountains of South Carolina. We do occasionally have a hard freeze, (not often). These work pretty good but the self watering thing is important to understand. Some plants do NOT like wet roots and this design keeps it wet for waaaaay too long if you fill the bottom tray to the top. So just keep that in mind if you're new to gardening. This is not some set it and forget it and the plant will be great. You have to account for the plant and the environment that it prefers.I put lettus in these so when it gets hot I can bring them Inside and keep my lettus bar going through the summer. Lettus plants dont mind having moist soil so they are doing really well. I have 3 lettus plants in each and they are going crazy.Herbs do mind wet soil.. a lot. They're roots rot if it doesnt dry out enough so you'll have to account for that to make herbs do well in this container. Also, of the 4 of these I bought, one of the bottoms broke very quickly and had to be taped on.These were well made and so pretty, but they didn’t fit inside my iron trellis window box frames, unfortunately!Really nice planters to my strawberries.I bought these to set up an arrangement of plants that were initially in separate pots which can be a clutter. The neutral colour and durable plastic are great combinations for this piece. I bought a self-watering spike irrigation system (for additional watering while I am away and if I forgot to fill the bottom with water) accidentally spilling the water. I worried that it would have caused problems for the plant but the underside reservoir part caught the excess water and available for when the roots need it. The little slits in the centre of the planter provides a lot of areas and space for the roots to reach the water if needed. Great planter.I bought a set for my elderly mother who still loves her garden. She really liked the watering feature. The colour is very attractive (turquoise). The planters are easy for her to move around, compared to some other kinds of heavy clay planters. I liked the bill to/ship to feature so that I could have them sent to my mother for a gift since I couldn't visit (pandemic lockdown). These are perfect for our kitchen herbs which we have under grow-lights. The containers are a good size allowing plenty of earth for planting and a good-sized water reservoir that is easy to fill through a small opening at one corner. We fit 3 plants in each 12" planter for a total of 6. Looking forward to growing healthy herbs through the winter for the first time!In my mind when I ordered these I pictured them larger than they are. They are exactly the size that their description says they are. That being said I like them and they appear to be well made. They fit my window sill perfectly. I like the light brown colour. They are deep enough for small bulbs and other small plants, herbs. I would recommend it.
