Many stalks (~18) arrived in moist towel &well protected with most having excellent root structure, see photo #1. All those with good root structure were put into 4" plastic containers with potting soil and the remaining stalks (~5) were placed in a vase with ~5" water. A week later, the ones with no or little showing roots on arrival (cf. 2nd with 1st photo) had developed excellent root structure and they were paced in the same mix as above & the stalk that had been in the starting pots were placed in a large pot. 10-days later those in the 4" pots were transplanted to the garden. ALL are doing GREAT!!
