I used it for my orchids and I places two in the 8" pot and they are doing beautifully. I keep the house about 70 degrees and they love that also and I have many new buds and new spikes. I have just learned how to grow orchids in the last year or so. It used to be throw out after they bloom because I never could get them to bloom again but they love the cooler temperature and this time of year go crazy.
