It has been almost a year since I ordered this water boiler and we use it everyday. Hands down for the Zojirushi quality! I especially like how easy it is to unscrew the top and pour all the water out, since I hate keeping the last bit of water in the pot on the "keep warm" mode. Frequently emptying the pot and letting it dry out helps reduce water stains -- a common issue with all the larger electricity boilers that let you reboil and creates a hassle when emptying the pot.The only issue is some hot water tend to remain in the lid after each pour. They come out easily when you tilt the pot even slightly forward. The hot water from the lid spilled on my hands a couple times because of this. So now after each pour, I always tilt the pot back and shake it a little to let the water in the lid drain back into the pot. It's a minor inconvenience, but I think the design of the lid could be improved to prevent safety issue.I first used this boiler in a hotel in Tokyo and was very impressed. It was a nice surprise to find the exact same thing on Amazon and imported from Japan at no shipping cost. This is a common model used in Japanese households, and personally I think it's better than their newer 1-litre model that has the flat top and metal exterior.Made in Japan , great electric pot . Our family uses this every day, multiple times a day to heat water for coffee, tea, hot chocolate, oatmeal, and ramen. We have had ours for 2 years and this week the heating element went out. I am thrilled to see they have it available on Amazon!! Best hot water kettle ever!Arrived in two weeks instead of 4. Boiled room temperature 1 liter of water in 6 minutes. A short summary of instructions.in english would have been great! Please suggest to the vendors.Great little pot. Just got ours today and still trying to figure out the details. But for now we are happy that it boils water. There are plastic and rubber parts on the lid where water will have to go through when you pour water from the pot. I wish it was all stainless. I guess they need to have the rubber and plastic for a safe seal so water does not leak out. If someone could make a 100% stainless.pot please let us know!Note that this pot is made in china and not made in Japan.English Manual would be helpful, otherwise, this thing works great!部屋用なのでそれほど必要なくコンパクトで安いものを探してたどり着きました。ビジネスホテルなどによく置いてある普通の電気ポットです。1Lですがお湯が半分以上残ってる状態で水を足すと「わかす」には切り替わらないので少し捨てる必要があります。沸騰の音も慣れればそれほど耳障りになることもないし、蒸気が噴くこともありません。ただ、湯量が少なくなるとお湯の出が悪く、カップに入れたお湯が跳ね返るので時々拭いてあげなければなりません。あとはロックボタンのオンオフで3mmほどしか高さが変わらないので分かりにくいです。商品説明にもあるように沸騰はしません。しかしカップ麺は普通に作れる温度です。沸騰するのが欲しい場合は500円ほど高くなりますがCH-DT10-XJ をおすすめします。どちらの商品もポットを持ち上げて注ぐ形式なので、ボタンを押して注ぐタイプではありません。部屋に置くポットとしては十分役に立ってくれてます。他メーカーの2年半使用した電気ケトルが突然壊れてしまいました。毎日5～6回は沸かすので無いととても困ります。次の商品は電気ケトルではなくて電気ポットにしようと決めていました。ケトルは早く沸くけれどコードが熱くなったり電力がかかりブレーカーが落ちたりするのが多々あったからです。こちらの商品に決めたのは象印の商品ということ、家族2人で飲むのにサイズがちょうど良いこと、デザインがレトロっぽくて可愛いこと、転倒してもお湯が出てこないこと、色は白メインが良かったこと沸く時間がかかってもブレーカーが落ちないこと、などです。使用してみて感じたマイナス点本体が少し重たいことメモリが無く残量が分からないこと（慣れたら重さで分かるように）開閉ボタンが5㎜程度しか上下せず分かりづらいこと注ぎ口が狭いのかだいぶ傾けないとお湯が出づらい良い点沸く時間はゆっくりでコードが熱くならないお湯がとても美味しく感じる（変な臭いや味がつかない）お茶やコーヒーにはちょうどいい温度コードがマグネットなので注ぐ時にとても便利ふたが大きく開くので水を注ぎやすく洗いやすい何といっても佇まいが可愛いマイナス点もあげましたが、慣れたら特に問題ないと感じるようになりました。こういう商品は安全性が一番だと思います。お値段以上の商品で選んで良かったです。小さくて軽い、コンパクト、沸騰時の消費電力が低く、エアコンと併用しても、ブレーカーが落ちないのは、よかったです。以前、使用していた大型ポットは、ブレーカーが、よく落ちて困っていたから。ですが、沸騰時の温度が、低いからか、お湯に、カルキ臭のような臭みが あり、お茶やコーヒーが美味しくないです。一度、ガスで、お湯を沸かし、それを保温して使用しています。 真夏のエアコン酷使の時の、限定使用に、なりそうです。
