This little carafe works perfectly, especially for enjoying summer mornings on the patio and having hot coffee refills without having to go into the kitchen! It keeps the coffee hot (probably wouldn't last the whole day, but I don't need it to) and is fairly easy to clean. I would never put it in the dishwasher as it could get chipped and the seal warped, so hand washing it is. Like other reviewers, I enjoy that satisfying little pop when I break the suction seal to pour my first refill!
