I took a chance with this. I wasn't looking for cheap, I was looking for brushed nickel with a pull down sprayer and I really liked the looks of this. The price was a nice perk and also the fact that - and I am quoting from the description: "AVOLA WARRANTY:If you're not completely satisfied with your purchase of these faucet, simply let us know and you'll be offered a FULL refund or replacement. Enjoy this absolutely RISK FREE purchase today,Easy to be installed,5 Year Limited Warranty". It arrived exactly as purchased, nice looking and new. I did notice right away that the hot and cold hoses seemed short, but I hoped all would be well there. (This did not come with a three hole support, which is fine, but I wanted to mention that in case anyone wanted one for a three hole sink). It did come with adapters for a 1/2 supply connection which we did not need. Instllation was fairly simple, especially for me, since I was only assisting ;) My husband is not a plumber, but the instuctions were pretty cut and dried and installation seemed to go quite quickly and without a hitch until we needed to attach the hot and cold hoses. Like I suspected, the cold was too short. I am not sure if they are standard sized, but these seemed better suited for a bathroom installation. My husband had to purchase a $6 adapter at Home Depot to ensure a better fit. We turned on the water and everything went well, for about 4 minutes, then the handle started a steady drip. No leaking below the sink or anywhere else, just the handle. With the water still on we used the small hex key to remove the handle. (We placed our handle at the front instead of off to the side because of the placement of the backsplash on our counter, it would have hit it while in use). With the handle placement, we could easily see the drip and see that we could not have done anything to cause this. I fired off an email, they do not give a number, and 3 days later, I am still waiting for a response. I despise leaks and I HATE wasting water. The drip frequency would have wasted a few gallons a day. Since we were stuck with this faucet for the time being, we were forced to turn off the water when not in use until we heard from Avola or bought a new replacement. I did not hear from them at all the next day. Did I expect to? Absolutely!! Apparently, getting back promptly to customers with problems is not a priority. Before ordering another faucet, I took a chance and Googled faucet handle leaks. We learned how to take it apart, which was very easy by the way, and discovered that the rubber gasket inside the faucet handle was floating around and not secured in the proper place. Something that should have been detected had the unit been tested as they say all of their faucets are. Needless to say, we got lucky. Leak fixed! Whew, what a relief! Now we can enjoy it. And we do. The sprayer is powerful and works very well, it has a pause button which we don't use, not sure why that's needed. When you pull it down, it goes right back in and fits well without hanging. The brushed nickel is nice and easy to keep clean and the on/off handle works well now that we fixed it. Do I anticipate a long life for this faucet? I honestly don't know, but if I should need a replacement, I am not convinced they will honor it considering they can't even bother to answer an email. I will return to edit this if they should every get back to me or if it starts to fall apart.Edit: They contacted me on the fourth day, after I posted my review. She said she did not receive my email and asked me to resend it. I was given a phone number for any future concerns and an apology. Not great, but better than nothing at all!Edit #2: I was contacted again, (weeks later), and offered a refund of the part I purchased and an inquiry about my happiness with the faucet. Definitely didn't need to, but their customer service is as close to the best as you can get.
